This free save editor can make a troublesome game easier to win by helping you change some quantities (like amount of gold, items etc.). If you copy the numbered map it will not be able to find your saves. The numbered map is your steam user number go inside there to find your saves to edit. I'm currently working on a version that allows for the Cloud saves. You go to the cloud saves, copy the file you want to edit, go to the Kotor 2 main file, make a new file called 'saves', paste the file, and link the KSE to the kotor main file. You'd need to copy the cloud saves from inside the folder in your cloudsaves folder into a new folder in the main TSL folder called "saves". If you're using the Cloud saves, there will be a cloudsaves folder in your TSL folder. Well, since you mentioned that you have the Steam version, I have to ask: Are you using the Cloud saves, or saving like normal? If it matters I can easily reinstall KotOR. Not sure if it matters, but I do NOT have KotOR installed, but DO have TSL. The location is the standard Steam directory, and I even manually seek it out each time. 22:20:16= KSE could not find any save games to edit. 22:20:15= KSE could not find saves directory for KotOR2.

I feel I have tried everything and not had any luck - installed 3.5.3, the DLLs separately, the Reg file, etc. Thanks for doing this and for all the replies.

If that still doesn't work, tell me the name and location of the folder on your computer (location being the full path to it) and then show me what you put into the Environment Variables, okay? If so, then please double-check that the settings are still there. That was just a placeholder for basically "download the program you are trying to use".Īnd did you restart your computer after you edited the Environment variables? If not, please do so. Nice work on the KSE otherwise, great program!

I have Windows 8.1 if that has something to do with it, but I'm pretty sure I had that when it worked earlier. The editor used to work by just clicking the program, but now it doesn't. I followed the steps basically, but nothing changed. Went into the system settings/ Environment Variables and added the path to the folder to the Path thingy. I extracted the DLL files from KSE to a folder (don't know if that was what I was supposed to do)ģ.

I downloaded JRLEdit (whatever that is)Ģ. I followed the instructions the best I could, but I have no idea if I'm doing it right.ġ. Thanks for responding! But I don't really understand the instructions, you'll have to excuse my incompetence. These are the logs from the last few tries, they are the same as all the others before. 15:51:10= KSE found TJM saves directory in C:\Program Files\LucasArts\TJM 15:51:10= KSE found KotOR1 saves directory in C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR 13:38:52= KSE found TJM saves directory in 13:38:52= KSE found KotOR1 saves directory in C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR 13:38:27= KSE found TJM saves directory in 13:38:27= KSE found KotOR1 saves directory in C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR 15:58:6= KSE found TJM saves directory in 15:58:6= KSE found KotOR1 saves directory in C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR 15:57:48= KSE found TJM saves directory in 15:57:48= KSE found KotOR1 saves directory in C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR 15:57:1= KSE found TJM saves directory in 15:57:1= KSE found KotOR1 saves directory in C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - KotOR
